More Info: Diver program overviewIf you've already learned the basic theory and skills of diving during a PADI Open Water Diver course, Scuba Evolution' PADI Advanced Open Water Diver gives you the chance to gain more experienced, become more comfortable in the water and earn a certification to dive to 30 meters / 100 feet while at the same time learn about new adventures, exploration and conservation opportunities. During this two-day course you will make five open water dives, some of which are required and some of which are elective: • Navigation Dive -- (Required) You will learn to use a compass and navigate a square and straight line. You will also learn to use natural navigation and to find the boat again • Deep Dive -- (Required) You will make a dive to 30 meters / 100 feet and find how nitrogen narcosis affect your mental abilties • 3 Elective Dives of Your Choice -- Choose from any of the PADI Specialty dives below: o Digital Photography o Night Dive o Peak Performance Buoyancy o Underwater naturalist o Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) o AWARE Fish ID o Search and Recovery o Boat Diving o Drift Diving o Wreck Diving o And many more…
What are the prerequisites? • PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) • Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver) What is included? • Adventures in Diving Crew-Pak • 5 Open Water dives Where can I go from here? PADI Advanced Open Water Divers at least 15 years of age can enroll in PADI Wreck or Deep Diver Specialty courses and continue on to the PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver course. PADI Adventure Dives can also credit towards the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver certifications. |
